As a leader in mental health service delivery, we provide services, programs  and education that help to increase awareness of mental health issues in our community.  Atlanta has a high concentration of poverty and vulnerability which impacts the prevalence of mental illnesses.  CFI works to reduce stigma associated with mental illnesses and helps connect individuals to community resources and services that provide a path to wellness and recovery.

How to make a referral?

Our staff are professionally trained and widely recognized in the provision of community-based mental health services. The collective experience of CFI's leadership team spans the public and private sectors and is the inspiration behind the implementation of our compassionate and specialized supportive services.
Who is eligible for CFI services?
  • Adults ages 18 and up

  • Diagnosed with mental illness or a dual diagnosis,

  • Impairment in life activities, and

  • Individuals meet at least one of the following criteria:

  1.   Have difficulty with interpersonal relationships.

  2.   Unable to recognize personal danger or inappropriate social​  behavior 

  3.   Requires help with basic living skills to ensure safety.​

  4.   Repeated interventions by the mental health, social service, or judicial systems are necessary.
